Zoals verwacht liepen er heel wat stijlvolle figuren rond op de vernissage van de tentoonstelling van Walter Van Beirendonck in het Momu. De mensen die ik in het oog sprongen waren voornamelijk modestudenten aan de Modeacademie van Antwerpen, maar ook andere mensen uit de internationale modescène.
Today legendary Converse Blockparty came to Antwerp, and it was even so much cooler than I expected it to be. Very nice dressed hipsters from all over Belgium and around gathered here for an afternoon of awesomeness.
When entering we had to pass a ramp overcrowded with skateboarders, going trough a basketball playing crowd, to end up at the place where I belonged: the dj-booth, with beats and rhymes taken care of by local hip-hop crews.
I hadn’t checked out to the new concept store ‘The Public Image’ in Antwerp yet, now I have on this perfect afternoon-party, and I liked them t-shirts very much.

This vintage paradise often is a highlight in my weekends. It ‘s awesome to see the involvement of the people putting their stuff out there. They are often collectors of certain things, like books, jewels, clothes, old interior elements and even furniture. Since I have something for warrior elements, I just adore the coin where a passionate man sells old army stuff, today he almost made me buy an old can of brown beans with pork.

This friday early in the morning I missed my train to Rotterdam.. As I was wandering around in the station of Antwerp, the white view outside and the wintery dressed people enchanted me! So I quickly went home to get my camera, to get this magical winter feeling on picture.
I think missing my train in the morning was a sign not to go.. The track ways in the Netherlands couldn’t cope with the snow, it took me 5 hours to get back to Antwerp, I can tell you I felt the winter yesterday, damn cold!
