London baby

Weekends go by fast. It’s hard to take the time to go all over the weekend again, not to forget the things we did and the good times we had. This blogpost will make the story stick in my online memory.

London is a city you could drown in, so many things to do and so little time. It makes you feel like a tiny little person in a world to big to discover in one lifetime, it’s frustrating and overwhelming all at once.

Good informed about what was going on at that time in London, here is what we stuffed into two days.

We met up at the Breakfast Club with some friends, Aline Vermeiren from and Lisa from, to start the day forceful.

Those who say that Tate Modern is overrated are not to believe, an amazing collection of famous art and photography is gathered here. (wallpainting from Jannis Kounellis)

Really worth the visit is Design Museum with the running exhibition of Terence Conran, founder of Habitat. On another flour the ecological visions from Muji where exhibited, interesting how little things like a smaller role of toiletpaper can make the difference.

Since we where in the hood, we make a romantic evening walk over the renowned Tower Bridge.

The best suggestion we followed was to visit the Saatchi & Saatchi Gallery, with the quite interesting retrospective exhibition of the Times Magazine covers.  We made our exit through the gift shop, ending up with a lovely Scoop magazine, and a John Baldesari poster.

Spittalfield market was our last stop, this is where one-mans brands get the opportunity to sell their stuff. London is full of creative people, but where the fuck do they hang out? On sundays you will find them on Bricklane is just a stone throw away from Spittalfield, a nice place to hang out for some vintage stuff and oriental food.
